I love the concept for this game!
What key is ^? I don't have it on my keyboard and pressing the key left of 1 does nothing. I can't activate the shield.
Hi nenad2D, it is actually the key left to the 1 key. But there might be a problem the game losing focus and the key input stops working. Probably for now reloading the page helps.

It seems consistent. This key varies among different keyboard layouts. On mine it's `
Which keyboard layout did you test it on?
I use the german QWERTZ layout. The key left to 1 makes the ^ and with shift held ° symbol.
You should definitely consider adding some alternative key mappings. I tried switching to german keyboard layout on windows 10 but still can't get it to read that key input :(
